Monchi from Feine Sahne Fischfilet reads for us!
Monchi has written his first book "Niemals satt".
Escalating, excessive and always in a good mood - that was Monchi's life for a long time. During the turbulent years in which Feine Sahne Fischfilet climbed to the top of the German music scene, it was always full throttle for frontman Monchi. Until the band took a break and he had the peace to deal with himself for the first time.
For as long as he can remember, Monchi has pushed himself beyond his limits. Not only on stage, but also in terms of crashing, drunkenness and boundless eating. At one point, Monchi weighed 182 kilos - and began to question certainties and habits. Personal failure turned into understanding one's own contradictions, quirks and identity. The same applies to the influences of society and self-perception.
In his book "Niemals satt - Über den Hunger aufs Leben und 182 Kilo auf der Waage" (Never Full - About Hunger for Life and 182 Kilos on the Scale), Monchi describes his struggle against self-indulgence, with all its successes and setbacks. At the Highfield we can look forward to a relentlessly honest Monchi, who will read from his work and take us along on the path on which he lost 65 kilos in just one year and gained a whole new life!
