HIGHFIELD. ONE LAST DANCE.

After almost 30 unforgettable years, this year’s Highfield Festival will be the last.

Dear Highfield Family,

We’re writing these words with immense gratitude about a decision that has been on our minds for a long time – and one that was anything but easy to make.

After almost 30 unforgettable years, this year’s Highfield Festival will be the last.

We still believe that Highfield is something truly special. At the same time, the landscape for festivals has changed significantly over the past few years. Creating a festival of the quality and scale you deserve now requires more than passion alone.

That’s why we’ve decided to take a creative break in 2027. We want to use this time to pause, reflect, and work together with our team on a new concept that meets the changing demands of the future.

Over the years, Highfield has become something bigger than any stage or line-up. It became a feeling. A tradition. A piece of summer you could always count on.

Together, we laughed, danced, celebrated, shivered, sweated, stood through the rain, and soaked up the sunshine. We’ve seen generations of festivalgoers come – and come back again. Groups of friends turned into traditions, and festival encounters became lifelong friendships.

For all of this, there’s only one thing we can say:

Thank you.

Thank you for your passion. Thank you for your trust. And thank you for every single story that became part of Highfield.

Before we close this chapter and make room for a new one, we want to celebrate the Highfield we all know and love together – one last time.

One more swim in the lake.
One more moment with your best friends in front of the stage.
One more chance to forget everything except the moment.

We’ll see you one last time this August at Lake Störmthal.

One Last Dance.

We don’t know exactly what comes next. But we do know that good ideas sometimes need time.

With love and gratitude,
Your Highfield Team
