What we do

The future starts now – and it is our responsibility how we will live in future and whether we can leave our children and grandchildren an ecologically, socially and economically intact community. Because sustainability begins at home. Everyone can and must do their bit. Ecological, economic and social sustainability are not alternatives but belong together and are mutually dependent. 

We, the Highfield Festival, are aware of the environmental impact of the activities involved in the production of a major event and thus also of our responsibility within society, and we would like to show what can be done to promote sustainability at a festival.
